HITalent Inc. has launched an alpha version of HiTalent (https://hitalent.me/), a screening-based professional platform for strategic consultants and investment bankers, and is now accepting new member registrations.

The shortage of human resources, especially highly skilled professionals, due to the decline in the working population is becoming more pronounced: by 2030, there will only be a labor supply of 64.29 million people against a labor demand of 70.73 million people, resulting in a shortage of 6.44 million people (*1). In particular, the shortage of highly skilled personnel, such as data scientists, continues to be felt among companies, with a 10.0 point shortage in 2018 and a 9.8 point shortage in 2019 (*2).
In response to this situation, we aim to eliminate the sense of human resource shortage among companies by building business showrooms centered on highly skilled human resources (hereafter referred to as “HiTalent”).

In this business community, HiTalent members can post their own biographies and portfolios, which can lead to job offers and portfolio sales, as well as consultation and discussion with other members. Our service helps to maximize opportunities for professionals in the business world.
In particular, by connecting professionals with companies, we aim to solve the shortage of labor demand. Currently, the service is mainly used by people who are or have been part of strategic consulting firms and investment banks, and we offer mainly freelance and side jobs on an outsourced basis.

We have considered approaches that can coexist with these measures. One of these measures is to maximize opportunities for people involved in the upstream processes of business, and this product release is the first step in this process.
We have been providing some of our services using Slack since the company’s inception, but in order to further promote the systemization of our services, we have now started to provide them as our own products. We have also provided a number of projects. Although the functions of this unique product are limited, we intend to expand it in the future to maximize the opportunities for professionals.
